Topographic data ZBGIS — imaging services/wms

ÚGKK SR ensures that reference data and information is made available to the department, where ZBGIS belongs via electronic services. The data is made available by map services that are published according to OGC standards. WMS works on the client-server principle and enables the sharing of spatial data in the form of raster maps in the Internet environment. The result of a client request (thin or strong client) to a WMS server is raster data (picture) most often in JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and others that display spatial data of different focus (layers), or may result from overlapping multiple layers (map compositions), even from different sources.
