Dataset description

A record of issued identity cards shall be kept and maintained for the purpose of verifying the identity and nationality and crossing the national border of the Member States of the European Union and the Schengen area and of other countries which have given their consent. The records shall contain: —THE SIMS; —surname; —name; —permanent residence; —photo of the citizen; —a handwritten signature of a citizen who knows and is able to sign; —the surname and forename and signature of the legal representative where the application is lodged by the legal representative; —the address and type of residence of the legal representative where the application is lodged by the legal representative; —signature of the official who accepted the application; —EMS, surname and first name of the person to whom the identity card has been served; —signature of the official who served the identity card where the identity card is served with the authority responsible for issuing the identity card; —signature of the person who received the identity card where the identity card is served with the authority responsible for issuing the identity card; —photo of the holder of the identity card. In addition to personal data, the records of issued identity cards also keep data on the individual identity card issued to a specific individual: —the designation and name of the issuer; —registration number; —serial number; —type of identity card; —date of application; —the date of issue; —the date of validity; —the mode and date of service; —the date on which the identity card was produced and taken over to the post office; —data on lost, missing and stolen identity cards.
