The register of nuclear and radiation installations is kept by the Nuclear Safety Administration of the Republic of Slovenia as a public register. The contents of the register are set out in the Ionising Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Act (ZVISJV-1), and the detailed content and method of management are laid down in the Rules on the Use of Radiation Sources and Radiation Activities (JV2/SV2). The facilities kept in the register are radiation, nuclear, minor (industry and research) and closed landfills. The data to be kept shall be as follows:
— name, place of establishment and address of the radiation operator,
who manages the facility,
— the name and surname of the legal representative,
— description of nuclear or radiation activity in the installation,
— the conditions for carrying out radiation activity,
— code and date of the decision on the status of the facility,
— code and date of approval of nuclear and radiation safety,
— the code and date of the permit to operate the facility and the validity of this permit,
— the name and surname of the person responsible for radiation protection or details of the workers of the radiation protection service,
— the designation and date of issue of the authorisation to carry out radiation activity in the installation and the validity of the permit.
The register of minor radiation facilities in the health and veterinary sector is kept as a public register by the authority responsible for radiation protection.
