Register of Permanent Population

The register of permanent residents is kept and maintained for the purpose of providing an overview of the situation and movement of the population (Article 18 of the Residence Registration Act). The records shall contain: —surname and forename, —The date of birth and sex, if not specified, the place of birth, —old permanent residence, a new permanent residence, —citizenship, nationality (only if the individual wanted to comment on it), the marital status, —the surname and forename and the EMŠO of the individual who directs the household, and the family relationship to it, —temporary residences, —address for service, —declarations of permanent residence abroad, —temporary departure abroad. A household register shall also be kept in the permanent population register and shall contain information: —surname and forename, —The date of birth and sex, if not specified, the place of birth, —permanent residence, —citizenship, the marital status, —the surname and forename and the EMŠO of the individual who directs the household, and the family relationship to it, —date of registration, deregistration or changes regarding establishment and membership of the household. In addition to personal data, the register of permanent residents also keeps data on: —authorising or prohibiting the transmission of data from the first to fifth indents to users who have no legal basis for collecting such data, —date of registration, deregistration or change of residence or duration of registration —the competent authority which made the notification, deregistration or amendment, —the procedure for establishing actual residence.
