Registration Census 2011

The 2011 Registration Census is one of the statistical surveys of the regular part of the statistical survey programme. carried out by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS). Registration census is a way of compiling data on population, households, families and housing, in which we statistically link data from existing administrative and statistical sources without further collection on the ground. With the transition to the registration census, Slovenia joined the few European countries, which are such a way of collecting and processing population data. households and housing have already been implemented with the aim of reducing administrative barriers and reducing research costs. For ease of distribution anonymised data files (persons and dwellings, excluding households and families) are also produced for other types of microdata users. A sample of 5 % of the household population in Slovenia.
