Dataset description

Annual reports on salaries of employees in electricity and coal mining companies of Slovenia show data on paid wages in all companies in both sectors. The annual reports provide an overview of the average monthly wages according to collective agreements by all companies separately for both sectors as compared to the average wage in the Republic of Slovenia for the previous and the current year. Gross salaries of employees, assets for performance and number of employees are shown. This shows the average monthly salaries paid on the basis of individual contracts of managers of companies in both sectors and the number of recipients of these salaries. The report concludes with an overview of the wages at the level of the undertaking as a whole, showing the total wage mass and wage structure by element, performance and bonuses and the number of employees under collective agreement, individual contract and trainees. The appendix to the reports is a number of tabular annexes showing monthly wages paid for all months of the year under consideration and employees for all electricity and coal companies with year-on-year indices, index of the current and previous year, index relative to 2000, gross and net wage growth, etc. Since 2015, due to the transfer of the responsibility for monitoring these data to another institution, the database is no longer updated. The latest data are published for 2014.
