Selection from the register of immovable cultural heritage

The collection selects the units of the register of immovable cultural heritage, which, due to their accessibility, orderliness and their tourist attractions, represent a useful set of data. The collection consists only of a point layer, if you also need heritage sites, use the register of immovable cultural heritage. The Register of immovable cultural heritage is an official database on immovable cultural heritage in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. With entry in the register, each unit receives a heritage registration number (EŠD), which is used in all procedures for the protection of cultural heritage. All immovable cultural heritage is entered in the register of immovable cultural heritage regardless of the type, type, extent, ownership or protection status of the unit. The register is kept by the ministry responsible for culture. Any legal or natural person may file an initiative for entry in the register at the Ministry of Culture, and the proposal for registration is always prepared by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia or its regional unit. The scope of the register, its management and use is regulated in detail by the Rules on the Register of Cultural Heritage (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 66/2009).
