Dataset description

The study pays particular attention to the referendum on the arbitration agreement with Croatia and other topical issues. Its purpose is to anticipate the participation and outcome of the referendum on the arbitration agreement and to determine what people expect from the agreement: only the end of the dispute or also such a solution to the border issue, which would be favourable to Slovenia, and when, in their view, would it be the right time to make a ruling: before or after Croatia’s accession to the EU. Regarding the European Union, respondents answered questions such as: how much do EU citizens feel after six years of membership, whose qualities it has they attribute to the extent to which they know the work of Members and Commissioners from Slovenia and whether they would have supported Milan M. Cvikel as a member of the Court of Auditors if they could they co-decided. Current topics concerned questions about the failed interpellation against Minister Kresalova and the possibility of privatising the state casinos companies to be facilitated by the proposed government strategy in this area. As always, current government support has been measured and how much the events of last month have had a significant impact on relations between political parties.
