Dataset description

Compuestos anuales libres de nubes, formados a partir de todas las imágenes diarias disponibles durante el año 2011 de los satélites "Defense Meteorologycal Satellite Program" (DMSP) tomadas por el sensor "Operational Linescan System" (OLS) y que no tienen problemas de resolución. En los casos en que más de un satélite recoja datos durante este año, existen compuestos de cada satélite. Se excluyen del compuesto las imágenes que están iluminadas por el sol o con deslumbramiento, las que están iluminadas por la Luna y las que están iluminadas por la aurora. Las imágenes tienen píxeles de 30 arcosegundos y comprenden toda La Tierra. Existen tres tipos de compuesto, ver el linaje y el modelo de datos.
