Dataset description

Mapping of distribution of endangered species (and of interest) in grids 1x1 km within the scope of the following legislation: — Andalusian catalogue of threatened species. Included in Law 8/2003 of the Wildlife of Andalusia and developed in Decree 23/2012 regulating the conservation and sustainable use of wild flora and fauna and their habitats. — Birds Directive. Annex I — Habitats Directive. Annex II — Recovery and conservation plans for threatened species. The information collected comes, for the most part, from the detailed mapping of the various monitoring programs of threatened species carried out by the Ministry. In addition to endangered species, species of interest are collected according to technical criteria. The information source of detail is sensitive, it has been made an area of influence of 5x5 km. The content is versioned (current version: Species_threatened_1x1_2022_10) Information accessible to citizens. Data updated until December 2020.
