Dataset description
NDVI seasonal abnormality calculated from the NOAA satellite images collected by the AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: Visible, near-infrared and 3 in the thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1 000 m. the NDVI seasonal abnormality of 2011 is calculated from the difference between the 2011 seasonal averages and the historical seasonal averages 93-11, grouping December 2010, January and February 2011 in winter; March, April and May 2011 in spring; June, July and August 2011 in summer; September, October and November 2011 in autumn.
