Systematic population monitoring records of avutarda (‘Otis tar’) in Andalusia collected in the period 2000-2021. The data come from the Emergency Program, Epidemiological Control and Monitoring of Threatened Fauna (PECES), from the Conservation and Recovery Programs of Steppe Birds, and from LIFE projects of the same theme that the Andalusian environmental administration has developed.
The information is reviewed annually and it generates the interpretative regional reports published on the website of the Junta de Andalucía following the Protocol of transfer and dissemination of the information derived from the Plans and Programs for the Conservation of Wild flora and fauna and the equipment entrusted to the Andalusian Environment and Water Agency (AMAYA) on 29/10/2014.
