Dataset description

Nodo de la Red de Información Ambiental de Andalucía. Junta de Andalucía. Imagen de satélite anual de Clorofila-a captada por el sensor SeaWiFS a bordo del satélite Orbview2, correspondiente al año 2000. Resolución espacial 1100 m. Ámbito Océano Atlántico y Mar de Alborán. En ETRS89 UTM huso 30. Con el propósito de obtener imágenes anuales de clorofila (mg/cm3) en el litoral andaluz, parámetro que permite la estimación de la concentración de fitoplancton e indirectamente de la actividad biológica, además de ser utilizado como instrumento de vigilancia de los procesos de eutrofización en el medio marino. Nodo de la Red de Información Ambiental de Andalucía. Junta de Andalucía. Integrado en la Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales de Andalucía, siguiendo las directrices del Sistema Cartográfico de Andalucía.
