Dataset description

Mosaic of the orthophoto of the so-called “American Flight” will be A. The flight of 1945-46 or Project Casey Janes, due to its antiquity and wide national coverage, is the flight of greatest historical interest available in Spain and other European countries. The origin of this flight is the need of the Allies, after disembarking in Normandy in June 1944, to have an adequate mapping of the European territory. (USAF) and the United Kingdom (RAF) who design the “Casey Jones” project to make a photogrammetric flight of much of Europe and North Africa, this flight is also known as “A series” photogrammetric flight.
