Dataset description

To identify areas with possible accumulation of pressures that may cause modification of the background profile or burial, 5 x 5 minutes mesh is used. Account has been taken of the area occupied by all the pressures described in section 2.1. of the Demarcation’s “Pression and Impact Analysis” as well as the percentage that each of them covers in each cell. That is, the sum of the surfaces occupied by the pressures has been calculated, and then the ratio between that sum and the surface of each cell has been calculated. The result, therefore, reflects the areas with the largest area occupied (as a percentage) in the funds by structures or actions that can modify their profile. In the case of no surfaces (as information related to points or lines), layers have been transformed into polygons by applying radios that approximate what can be occupied by these pressures, in particular: — Sunken boats: radius of 75 meters — Cables and pipes: radius of 5 meters — Artificial and regenerated beaches: radius of 200 meters The water sheets of all ports (areas I in the case of Ports of General Interest) are included, since they are susceptible to being dredged. Cells are classified according to the following ranges: Very High: greater 20 %/High: 15 to 20 %/Measure: 10 to 15 %/Low: 5 to 10 %/Very Low: lower 5 %
