The Andalusia Cartographic Base (BCA) is conceived as a vector topographic base without explicit topology, the vertices of which are represented by three coordinates (x, y, H) in projection UTM zone 30N of the ETRS89 reference system; it collects the general elements found in the territory, and is oriented for their exploitation by computer systems as well as for the elaboration of cartographic outputs. The extent of its scope is limited to the territory of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. The final content of the BCA is a continuum of all Andalusia, although for its planning, capture and dissemination the data are organised in sheets based on division 1/10,000 (according to Royal Decree 1071/2007).
