Areas liable to flooding; SNCZI preferential flow areas

Areas delimited as the reference flux area in accordance with Article 9 of Royal Decree 849/1986 of 11 April 2007 approving the Regulation on the Public Hydraulic Domain, corresponding to the Autonomous Community of Navarre. It forms part of all the hazard and flood risk maps incorporated in the National System for the Cartography of Flood Areas (SNCZI) in accordance with Royal Decree 903/2010. It was drawn up by the Ebro and Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederations with the cooperation of the Autonomous Communities and the coordination of the national flood group and updated in the 2th cycle of implementation of the European Floods Directive. This area consists of the union of the area (s) where the flow is preferably concentrated during outflow, or deep drainage, and of the area where, for the 100-year return season, serious damage to people and property can occur, with the outer boundary being circumscribed by the enclosure of both areas.
