Dataset description
Zones Vulnerable to pollution by nitrates from agricultural activity, in accordance with Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources (‘the Nitrates Directive’). (Royal Decree 261/1996).
This version of vulnerable zones corresponds to the updated version as of 9 June 2021.
It differs from that reported to the European Commission in the monitoring report of Directive 91/676/EEC for the four-year period 2016-2019, in the review of the areas corresponding to the Autonomous Communities of Andalusia, Aragon, La Rioja and Catalonia
