Dataset description

The areas with the highest density of fishing vessels (i.e. the areas with the highest number of VMS records) have been identified, as well as the areas with the highest density of merchant vessels (AIS), adding the signals received from both sources on each cell (transformed the VMS data to signals emitted every 5 minutes, to make them comparable with the AIS).
