Dataset description

This layer contains the capacity stations of the CARM-owned road network that record traffic. They are a total of 240 of which 12 are permanent (it accommodates 24 hours of all days of the year), 37 are primary (42 or 49 days: one week in alternate months, including in any case the month of August), 137 are secondary (12 days: 2 working days in alternate months) and 54 are covered (2 working days per year). As a summary of the capacity work is published on the page of the DG Roads the Annual Report of Waterfalls, where the last published report is presented differentiated from the previous years (https://www.carm.es/web/pagina?IDCONTENIDO=46490&IDTIPO=100&RASTRO=c291$m) and, the rest of the years are included in the section Historical Forums (http://www.carm.es/web/pagina?IDCONTENIDO=578&IDTIPO=100&RASTRO=c399$m). The following data are collected in this geographical information layer: number or code of the capacity station, municipality where it is located, road measured, kilometre point on which it is located, type of station, length of volumed section, total IMD, IMD light vehicles and IMD heavy vehicles. This information is part of a data series that integrates transport network information and is supplemented with the following Spatial Data Sets: road line layer owned by CARM, P.K. point layer, road line layer owned by the Ministry of Public Works, CARM road link line layer, CARM conservation polygon layer, polygon layer of CARM operating areas and volumed sections of the carm network.
