Dataset description

La capa de IMD 2017 recoge el cálculo final de las Intensidades Medias Diarias (IMD) de todos los tramos de carretera de la red autonómica del año 2017, así como el tanto por ciento correspondiente al tráfico de vehículos pesados. Estos datos provienen del plan de aforos que anualmente se desarrolla en el Centro de Gestión y Seguridad Viaria de la Generalitat Valenciana, y es la cartografía básica utilizada en los mapas de intensidades. El IMD se define como el número total de vehículos que pasan durante un año por una sección transversal de la carretera dividido por el número de días del año, siendo el resultado el tráfico correspondiente a un día que es la media de todos los del año.
