CyL transport networks: WMS Service

Web map display service, in accordance with the WMS-OGC standard, which covers transport networks (item 7, Annex I of the INSPIRE Directive: TN — Transport Networks). The specification of the Transport Networks theme has been organised around four sub-themes: roads, railways, water transport and air transport, including connections between them. This is intended to create a generic framework that allows topographical representation, the construction of topologically consistent networks, connectivity with the rest of INSPIRE’s topics and the possibility of associating other types of information with these data (e.g., the speed limit). The specification contains some requirements for the data: networks must be interconnected across borders and between modes of transport, some topographical features must be correctly collected and support the link with information on transport flows, so as to enable data to provide navigation services.
