Dataset description

Map of Orientations generated from the Digital Model of Elevaciones de Castilla y León 2008-2011 at 5 m./pix. Raster layer representing, on a mesh or GRID (5 m mesh pass), the orientation in which the slopes are arranged, resulting from the interpolation of the altitudes extracted from the MDE. The orientation at a point can be defined as the angle between the vector pointing north and the projection on the horizontal plane of the normal vector to the surface at that point. Product derived from mdt_cyl_mde_005, with total coverage of the territory of the Autonomous Community of Castile-Leon.
