Dataset description

The present study tries to analyse and characterise the distribution of the meadows of marine fanerogams existing in the Natural Area of the Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, provinces of Malaga-Granada. The flora species studied are Posidonia Oceanic and Marine Zostera, species threatened according to the Red Lists of the threatened vascular flora of Spain and Andalusia, respectively: There are more recent studies, so this work, dating from 2001, can be considered obsolete.
