Evaluation of Agroecological Resources (Pilot 1:10.000) — WFS

The information contained in this WFS service shows the agroecological evaluation of certain territorial units of the Principality of Asturias in two well-differentiated areas. On the one hand, in areas of vegas and valleys reperesentative of some of the areas of greatest interest AGRÍCOLA of Asturias, and on the other hand, an area of mainly FORESTAL use, characteristic of the Asturian West. In short, the objective of this information is to define the suitability that a particular territory, considered as a model or “pilot zone”, possesses for the implementation of various agricultural uses, both forestry and agricultural. It is thus intended to establish which of the uses evaluated are the most appropriate in a given territory (in this case, pilot zones) depending on the characteristics of the existing natural soils, their climatic conditions and their geomorphological conditions, and thus establish an objective basis for the development of sustainable agricultural uses.
