Dataset description

This spatial data set consists of seventeen layers of geographical information alluding to different administrative-functional subdivisions (political-administrative limits, municipalities, provinces, urban neighborhoods...) existing in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia: — Political-administrative limits (da01_lim_adtivo) — Municipal terms (da02_term_munic) — Provinces (da03_province) — Urban neighbourhoods (da04_barrio) — Postal codes (da05_cod_postal) — Census sections (da06_censal_section) — Autonomous local authorities (da07_ela) — Judicial parties (da08_dem_judicial) — Technical units for employment, local and technological development (da09_utdlt) — School demarcation (da10_dem_school) — Sanitary demarcation (da11_dem_sanitary) — Sports demarcation (da12_dem_sport) — Demarcation social services (da13_dem_social) — Agricultural regions (da14_dem_agraria) — Rural development groups (da15_dem_gdr) — Territorial units of POT Andalusia (da16_dem_pota) — Marine administrative boundaries (da17_dem_marine) In 2013 the new version of the Spatial Reference Data of Andalusia (DERA) was published that comes to complete and replace the Spatial Data of Andalusia (DEA100) published in 2009, passing this group to be called G17 Administrative Divisions. The information, coming mostly from the different departments of the Junta de Andalucía, and from numerous public institutions and municipalities, has been standardised and homogenised to facilitate its comparability, its access and its immediate integration into any GIS.
