The Map of Crops and Harvests of Spain at 1:50,000 scale of the years 2000-2010, generated by the MAPAMA, corresponds to a national mapping of the uses and uses of the soil.
This map is the update of the previous version of the MCA1980-1990.
This mapping defines and describes the crops and soil harvests of the entire national territory, through the use of codes, which are grouped into uses and overloads.
The codes used are texts that have associated superscripts and subscripts, in order to accurately describe the culture represented. Thus, the sub-indices and superindices used are:
· Sub-indices and numeric superindices: percentages of land use and covered accommodation respectively.
· In forest masses you can also find the superindices “r” (repopulation), “mb” (low mountain), “lz” (Latizal) and “f” (fustal).
The crops and harvests specified on the map are grouped into the following uses:
1. CULTIVATED AREA
— Dried and irrigated Herbaceous Crops
— Forced crops and Huerta
— Dried and irrigated fruit
— Dry and irrigated vineyard
— Dried olive grove and irrigated
Meadows. Grasslands. Bushes
2. FOREST SPECIES
