Map of the Plant of the Canary Islands, prepared to be used on a 1:20,000 scale, is the final result of the task developed in various cartographic projects addressed by members of the Department of Plant Biology (Botanic) of the University of La Laguna, whose efforts were concreted in a final project financed by GRAFCAN, managed through the Fundación Empresa Universidad de La Laguna.The elaboration of the map has been based on a Topographic Map at 1:20,000 scale, orthophotos at 1:5,000 scale and fieldwork.
