Dataset description

La capa raster (ctx12_mdt) contiene un modelo digital del terreno de la Península Ibérica procedente de la misión Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) de la NASA que con sus radares barrió la mayor parte de la superficie de la Tierra, adquiriendo datos suficientes para obtener la más completa base de datos de alta resolución de la topografía terrestre. Cuando los datos fueron procesados, se enviaron al EROS Data Center (EDC) de la Geological Survey para comprobar su calidad y para su distribución.
