Orthophotography of Andalusia (2008-2009)

Orthophotography of Andalusia in color elaborated at 50 cm resolution, starting from digital photogrammetric flights of 2008, of 0.22 meters of geometric resolution for the Southeast quadrant, and 0.42 meters of geometric resolution for the Southwest quadrant. Orthophotography of Andalusia in color elaborated at 50 cm resolution, starting from digital photogrammetric flights of 2009, 0.45 meters of geometric resolution for the Northeast quadrant, and 0.45 meters of geometric resolution for the Northwest quadrant. These photogrammetric flights were carried out within the National Plan of Air Orthophotography (PNOA) project. The management of the project is taken over by the Ministry of Development, through the Directorate General of the National Geographical Institute (IGN) and the National Geographic Information Centre (CNIG), coordinated with the Ministries concerned and with the Autonomous Communities and their competent departments and bodies, the Directorate General of the Institute of Cartography of Andalusia, belonging to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the body that assumes the competence in this area. The production is carried out in a decentralised way by each regional team, the IGN being responsible for the final validation, and the integration of the resulting products.
