Dataset description

Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. WMS service from the map published in the Environmental Report 2015 corresponding to the evolution of green areas of Andalusia, 2005-2013 in the provincial capitals of Andalusia and municipalities over 100,000 inhabitants. The following municipalities have been considered: Algeciras, Almeria, Cádiz, Córdoba, Dos Hermanas, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Jerez de la Frontera, Marbella, Malaga and Seville. By green zone, the one defined in the technical report — Towards a local sustainability profile has been considered. Common European indicators — of the Directorate-General for the Environment (European Commission), this document defines the following as a green area: (A)parks, gardens or open and public spaces exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists, except islets or green traffic divisions and cemeteries (unless the local administration recognises their recreational function or their natural, historical or cultural importance). B) outdoor sports facilities, accessible to the public and free of charge. Private areas (agricultural areas, private parks), accessible to the public at no cost. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
