WMS service corresponding to the following 3 layers: 1 — Cartography of the dumping of sludge into the Guadiamar River after the Aznalcóllar accident in 1998. A SPOT orthoimage taken in April 1998 was used as a baseline and photointerpretation. It contains information on the level of affectation of the discharge of acidic water and the discharge of sludge, as well as its average thickness. 2 — Sampling points (23) taken in the basin of the Agrio and Guadiamar River. The parameters used for the analysis are varied: concentration of Cu, Zn, As, Cd, Sb and Tl in filtered, unfiltered water, sediments, plankton, perifiton and macroinvertebrates; Tª, pH, conductivity and alkalinity of water. The assessment of the effects of the discharge covers the period 1998-2000. Scale 1:50,000. 3 — Study of the heavy metals of the Guadalquivir estuary, taking 14 sampling points. Information prepared by the Ministry of the Environment. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
