In order to obtain the changes, by season, in the concentration of chlorophyll-a (mg/cm³) in the sea, of the last year of study regarding its average behavior, per season, throughout the historical series 2000-2012. With these images, it can be observed the increase or decrease of this parameter, which in turn allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of the biological activity, in addition to being used as a tool for monitoring the eutrophication processes in the marine environment.
