WMS service corresponding to the Aquifer Vulnerability Map against Pollution at 1:400,000 scale drawn up by the Ministry of the Environment in 2005. The starting document to generate this map has been the Hydrogeological Atlas of Andalusia, 1998. Hydrogeological units have been linked to the results of a regional scale mathematical model (DRASTIC) on vulnerability of aquifers to pollution. The DRASTIC model includes seven factors used to give values related to the vulnerability of an aquifer to pollution: D — Depth of water level, R — Net recharge, A Nature of the aquifer, S — Type of soil, T — Topography, Pending, I — Impact of the unsaturated zone and C Permeability. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
