REDIAM. WMS Data of chlorophyll-a concentration of water in the low course of the Guadalquivir River (2009-2010)

WMS service corresponding to the set of chlorophyll-a concentration images (mg/m³) of the water, covering the lower course of the Guadalquivir river, from the municipality of Alcolea del Río to its mouth. Data obtained from geometrically and atmosphericly corrected images of the Landsat 5 satellite captured by the TM sensor (Thematic Mapper) during the period 2009 to 2010. The obtaining of this parameter allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of the biological activity, in addition to being used as a tool for monitoring the eutrophication processes.
