REDIAM. WMS HIC 7210-0 Calcareous turfs of the Cladium mariscus and with species of Caricion davallianae (*)

WMS service corresponding to the 7210_0 priority Community Interest Habitat characterising calcareous swamp areas with Cladium mariscus and Magnocaricion elatae species. Habitat of water margins, flowing or stagnant, dominated by helophyte herbaceous plants (plants with part of the stem submerged in water, but aerial inflorescences), characterised by the presence of Cladium mariscus (masiega), which may be accompanied by other species of edges of water boards, such as the carrizo (Phragmites australis), ciperaceas of smaller size such as Carex elata and C. hispida, juncaceae and poaceas, being the density of the masiega very variable, from a few individuals spread among other species of swampy areas or peatlands, to almost monospecific and very dense masegares.
