WMS service corresponding to the non-priority Habitat of Community Interest 9240, which includes the Iberian and North African forests dominated by Quercus faginea, Quercus canariensis or Quercus afares. It also highlights the importance of the wet formations of the Iberian southwest, unique in Europe and of great biological importance. In the Iberian Peninsula there are only formations of Q. faginea or Q. canariensis. In Andalusia, they have been included in this habitat, in addition to the complaints, other formations closely related to them, but that are not strictly dominated by the quejigo, the waxes and hazelnuts, given their limited distribution and interest. The physiological and ecological variability of the communities included determined their division into three subtypes that differ by their dominant species, proposing, for the case of waxes and hazelnuts, their treatment as a priority HIC in our community. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
