Dataset description

WMS service corresponding to the non-priority Habitat of Community Interest 92D0-0 characterised by shrub plant formations that occupy low flow waterways, such as ramblas, rivers and Mediterranean streams, whose current is intermittent and irregular. These courses are typical of warm climates, producing a strong evaporation in them and therefore, a certain accumulation of salts. The communities that develop in these courses are generally large bushes, such as adelfares, dominated by the adelfa (Nerium oleander), or tarajales in which one or more species of tarage predominate (Tamarix África, T. galica, T. canariensis, T. boveana...). Tarajales are the formations that support a greater continentality and height. Also appear brambles, dominated by the bush (Rubus ulmifolius). In this riparian ecosystem, consisting of the watercourse and its associated vegetation, reptiles such as the leper galapago (Mauremys leprose) or the water snake (Natrix sp.) take refuge. It also serves as a refuge for amphibians, highlighting the presence of the common frog (Rana perezi), as well as mammals, the case of the ginette itself (Genetta genetta) or small rodents. Finally, it should be noted the presence of small birds, which use the thick branching of these formations to nest. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
