REDIAM. WMS Inventory of unique trees and groves of Andalusia

WMS service corresponding to the Inventory made thanks to citizen participation, with the intention of providing georeferenced information on the location and characterisation of these particular specimens, in support of their correct management. A tree is considered unique when it stands out from the rest of the specimens of the same species, either by adopting an unusual form, having an advanced age, having exceptional dimensions, acquiring a high landscape value, being located in places unusual for its species, for its history or popular traditions, or simply for its rarity. We speak of a singular grove, when the singularity occurs in a group of trees that houses a large number of singular individuals; on other occasions, it is the harmonious set of trees that offers the character of singularity, it may happen that the specimens that integrate it lose a certain value by separating them from it.
