REDIAM. WMS Physiomic Landscape Units for 2005

REDIAM. WMS Service of the Map of Physical Units for 2005, obtained from the Soil Occupation System of Spain (SIOSE) of the same year. The Physical Units (UF) for 2005 have been obtained based on the Soil Occupation System of Spain (SIOSE Spain), on a 1/25,000 scale of the same year. UF can be understood as the interpretation of the landscape sense of land uses and covers. They identify recognizable and distinguishable landscapes, based mainly on phenosystemic issues: texture, arrangement and color etc. Methodologically, they follow the UF derived from the Maps of Uses and Coverages of Soil (1959/1999/2003/2007), although the characteristics of the SIOSE have forced a completely different procedure, basing the conversion into percentages of occupancy of each cover in each enclosure. A first and cartographic statistical analysis in the second instance, has finally produced the 36 UF for the indicated year. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia.
