Dataset description

WMS service corresponding to the Map of Public Green Areas of the provincial capitals of Andalusia and municipalities greater than 100,000 inhabitants. The following municipalities have been considered: Algeciras, Almeria, Cádiz, Córdoba, Dos Hermanas, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Jerez de la Frontera, Marbella, Malaga and Seville. The elaboration works have consisted of the direct photointerpretation on the ortho PNOA of the years 2004 and 2005, using the cadastral mapping and the corporate street of the Junta de Andalucía as main sources of reference. The digitisation of polygons has followed the geometry of the corporate street in 2006. Subsequently and using the auxiliary information, those polygons that correspond to private green areas have been removed. By green zone, the one defined in the technical report — Towards a local sustainability profile has been considered. B) outdoor sports facilities, accessible to the public and free of charge. Private areas (agricultural areas, private parks), accessible to the public at no cost. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
