Dataset description

WMS service corresponding to the location of sightings, findings and strandings of cetaceans on the coast of Andalusia and marine waters of influence, in the period from 2003 to 2011 (according to the species). It offers the distribution of the fauna by species in grids composed of cells of 1 Km2, so that within the same cell can appear species observed in different years. The associated alphanumeric information indicates in each record: scientific name of the species, how this presence has been recorded (by stranding or sampling), year in which the presence is detected, number of observations made and information sheet of the species, extracted from the report on Sustainable Management of the Andalusian Marine Environment.
