Dataset description

The geographical scope of the EMPOs is the five Spanish marine demarcations: North Atlantic, South Atlantic, Strait and Alboran, Levantine-Balear and Canary Islands, defined in Article 6.2 of Law 41/2010 of 29 December 2010 on the protection of the marine environment, and in the terms stipulated in Article 2 of that Law. These plans fall outside the scope of these plans: zones I and II of the ports of general interest of the State, as well as the service waters of the autonomous ports. B) the coastal waters in everything that is regulated in hydrological planning.
