Dataset description

The Callejero Digital de Andalucía Unificado, hereinafter CDAU, is the official digital street of the Junta de Andalucía, generated from the merger of the different sources of information about street, both geographical and alphanumeric, existing in the autonomous community (Cartocity, GESTA, street people of local entities, etc.). The CDAU constitutes an official database, with a topological structure of GIS, which includes information on the road network and portal of all the municipalities of Andalusia, thus allowing the geographical location of all addresses registered officially in the autonomous community with an approximation at portal level. The Callejero Digital de Andalucía also includes information of a census nature (censional sections) and postal (postal codes, not districts as it now puts), as well as information on the territorial structure of the community (municipalities and population centers). The data model of the Callejero Digital de Andalucía includes the following phenomena or geographical entities: — vial: alphanumeric table with urban roads (streets, avenues, squares, etc.) and interurban (motorways, roads, roads, etc.) of the digital street. The vial layer is generated from the fusion of the different available sources, i.e.: alphanumeric street of the IECA (GESTA), street cartocity, street of Catastro, version of the Callejero Digital de Andalucía before the unification of sources (CDA) and streets of local entities (deputations and municipalities). — portalpk: portals, kilometer and scattered points of the digital street, understood by disseminated those addresses that do not obey the usual pattern of addressing (street + portal) and that are defined by the name by which a place is popularly known (e.g. Cortijo Santa María). Like the vial layer, the portals have been generated from the fusion of the different available sources, this is: alphanumeric street of the IECA (GESTA), street cartocity, street of Catastro, portals of Censo 2011 and street of local entities (deputations and municipalities) as well as the maintenance of the platform. Finally, the geographical nomenclator of Andalusia (NGA) and the NomGeo toponym database have been used as the source of the disseminated portals. — section: geometry through which the vials run. This geometry, of polylinea type, is divided into different sections or sections according to a set of established tramification rules (for example, when two paths cross). The sources of information for the track sections are similar to those described in the track entity. — core: population centers or settlements of the digital street. The core layer is obtained from the IECA Population Project generating polygonation for the entire Andalusian territory, each polygon having the INE code of nucleus corresponding to the Nomenclator. Each portal inherits the ine code from Nomenclator. — grouping: set or grouping of buildings that are not considered as officially nuclei (e.g. urbanisations, industrial estates, etc.). This layer comes from the IECA’s MTA10, is maintained by its competent body and is regularly updated in the CDAU maintenance application. — municipality: municipalities of Andalusia. The municipal layer comes from IECA’s Territorial Delimitations project. It is kept up to date by the Cartographic Production Service (IECA) and is updated once a year at CDAU. —postal_code: postal codes of Andalusia. The layer of postal codes comes from the street of Cartociudad, it is maintained by this body together with Correos and is updated periodically in the maintenance system of the CDAU. The postal code layer has been generated from the Post Office WMS service that disseminates the IDEE. Addresses and Postal Codes. Name of the addresses from the Cartocity project based on official data from the IGN, the General Directorate of the Cadastre, the Correos Group and the National Institute of Statistics and in collaboration with the autonomous communities of the Basque Country, Comunidad Foral de Navarra, Comunitat Valenciana, La Rioja and Illes Balears. The denominations comply with the Inspire Directive 2007/2/EC as well as its style. They also have associated a visualisation style defined by the IGN. WMS 1.3.0 display service according to ISO 19128:2005 Inspire profile. Access and exploitation of this service is allowed in any case provided that the authorship and ownership are mentioned as follows: “CC BY 4.0 www.scne.es/productos.html#CartoCiudad” — section_censal: census sections of Andalusia. The census section layer is maintained by the IECA in collaboration with the INE, updated periodically in the CDAU maintenance system. Each portal inherits the census section.
