The map Thermal Regime: Thermal Regimes according to J. Papadakis, belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterisation or Agroclimatic Information. The classification developed by Papadakis is based on the establishment of a thermal regime and a water regime that will serve to determine the different climatic units, including factors of high relevance for crops such as summer and winter severity. The map of Thermal Regime corresponds to a thermal regime model represented through a map of hyssometric inks. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by methods of geostatistical interpolation (kriging) from data from 1803 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
