Transfer of waste outside the industrial complex

Spatial dataset containing information on waste generated in a PRTR industrial complex and leaving the site for treatment (recovery/disposal, incineration being considered disposal). Information communicated by the owners of the complexes and validated by the Competent Authorities in PRTR of the Autonomous Communities for the reporting years 2017, 2018 and 2019. Quantities expressed in total tonnes per year. The information contained in this table is more complete than that reported to the European Union and is collected in the EU-Registry database, since the waste transfers from each site are grouped for this report only in hazardous and non-hazardous waste, while in these tables the information is disaggregated by categories of LER and CER waste. This CDE includes all off-site waste transfers validated by competent authorities, and not only those reported to Europe (above a certain threshold). In the event that the transfer of the waste takes place outside the borders of the State, information is also provided on the installation that will carry out the treatment or management of the waste. In addition to the information is included some additional data of the complex that communicates the transfer of the waste. The fields included correspond to the following information typology: • Characteristics of the complex that originates the registry. • Geographic Position. • Type of waste. • Type of treatment. • Quantities of waste. • Waste receivers outside Spain. The table that constitutes the CDE includes a record for each LER/CER year-complex-waste combination, which is why there are many tens of thousands of records in the table.
