Limits and areas of closed shellfish on foot in the Canary Islands. The information, which has been provided by the Directorate-General for Fisheries of the Government of the Canary Islands, shows the areas in which certain species cannot be shellfished on foot for a certain period of time, information which is regulated by the Order of 2 May 2011 and subsequently by the Order of 18 May 2011. The service, published in the IDECanarias viewer, returns information on the affected species in each section and the associated closure period.
