WMS Service of the Geological Map of the Canary Islands. This map was made through an agreement between the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) and GRAFCAN in 2003. Subsequently, in 2010, the graphical and alphanumeric database of the Continuous Digital Geological Map of the Canary Islands was updated and generated. For its elaboration, the National Geological Map (MAGNA) was used as basic information. The map is composed of the following layers: dams, structures, fractures, contacts, points and lithologies.

Fieldwork used as a base: Years 1996-1997 (El Hierro), Years 1989-1992 (Fuerteventura), Years 1986-1989 (Gran Canaria), Years 1992-1994 (La Gomera, Lanzarote), Years 1998-1999 (La Palma) and Years 1978-1985 (Tenerife).
Between 2002 and 2003: Adaptation and updating of the data of the MAGNA Plan to the Continuous Map of the Canary Islands, based on the cartographic basis of GRAFCAN and carrying out partial fieldwork.
Between 2003 and 2005: Generation of the graphical and alphanumeric database of the Continuous Geological Map of the Canary Islands.
In 2010: New symbology of representation of the Geological Map.
