Dataset description

Important Bird Areas in Spain (IBAS Important Bird Area) are those areas in which a significant part of the population of one or more species of birds are regularly present as a priority under the BirdLife program. The information, received directly from the Important Bird Areas Program (IBA) — SEO/BirdLife Conservation Area in Madrid, corresponds to the result of the inventory review carried out in 2012. The service, which can be consulted from the viewer, returns a link to a tab on the BirdLife page with complete information for each IBA. Date of data: 2010.
