The map has been drawn up on a scale of 1:500 by recognising the orthophoto of IDECanarias and categorised according to the degree of naturalness of the context in which the specimens are located. Promoted by the Biodiversity Service of the Government of the Canary Islands, the preparation had two phases, both financed with ERDF funds: one in 2015 where the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife was made and another during 2016/2017 for the province of Las Palmas.

In case of major update that would not be compatible with previous version of API, we keep for 30 days both versions so you will have enough time to transfer to new version. We will inform you about the changes in advance by e-mail.
